I'll be honest, I used to be scared of worms. On fishing trips I would have someone else bait my hook. When others would pick them up after rain I would stay inside and play with my Barbies.
I wasn't always so fond of of these little slimy looking buggers, but they have grown on me because they do some great things for a garden.
As we've established on the blog, I'm a big fan of the hoes (garden hoes... did you not learn anything?). Worms are kind of like miniature hoes with a heart of gold that continue working underneath the surface stirring up dirt
Dis be my harem
With raised beds I wanted to make sure the soil didn't become so compact that the roots would have trouble expanding.
Cheers to garden growth.
Have a great day.
